Celebrating our Youth Council

The Youth Council has had a fantastic year, achieving so much through its work programme. While attendance at meetings has had its ups and downs, 2024 has been an exciting year with the arrival of several new Youth Councillors. These enthusiastic individuals brought fresh ideas and valuable experience from groups like the Herts Youth Network, Friday Night Club, and JLGB.

We also said goodbye to our former Chairperson, Leo, earlier this year. Leo stepped down to focus on his A-levels and is now off on a gap year adventure in Israel. We wish him all the best and know he’ll do amazing things.

It’s always a bit sad to see people leave, but it’s also a chance to reflect on how much everyone contributes. A huge thank-you to all our Youth Councillors for your time, energy, and passion—you’ve made such a positive difference to our town and to yourselves. Keep being awesome!
